Max size of this anemone species is roughly 2". Contact your group in LA and figure out how many anemones you want to order, then get ahold of me. Group orders save on shipping. A typical group order of these anemones ends up costing each person around $11-$12 per anemone including shipping. This is all dependent on the size of the order, of course.

I just wanted to say that I have some of these mini carpets and they are very cool little guys. I got mine as a hitch hiker from another reefer but it is the same type Gary sells. It has split a couple times and now I have a few of them.

Gary,

I am trying to see how the DC group order that Michaelg mentioned comes together. If we cant pull a group order I will be in contact with you directly to do an order right after Thanksgiving.

If I do an order direct I would also be interested in any other frags you might have available. You can email me directly regarding frags if you prefer scott.blackburn@rsmi.com

This particular type of carpet anemone is unusual because it can do quite well in less intense lighting situations. They look especially nice under VHO actinics. (Glow green and pink and the oral disc size gets larger.) I hope everyone had a safe holiday.

I have three of Gary's mini carpets--they are doing great under PCs.

My PC is down until later this week. The best way to keep in touch with me (until my system is up and running again) is through Reef Central PM's.

Kind of off topic but Gary, do you have a whole bunch of these little guys in a prop tank just growing like crazy? Would be cool to see a picture if so!

I had one that split into 5 in a couple months with me feeding it/them. Stopped feeding and no more splitting

If I get a chance, someday I'll grab a pic. For those inquiring about coloration of these particular anemones: all anemones are basically the same color scheme with slight variations within each individual. Feeding cyclop-eeze and bright (but not intense halide) light seems to enhance their coloration.
