Switching Current Water Director (SCWD). Basically its an oscillating device that simulates wave making in your tank.

it takes the from from one pump, and switches it between two outputs. i have one i bought from a guy here on RC, but i have yet to hook it up. i have had it for well over a year LOL.

Here is what a SCWD is, its a wave making device run off an existing pump or an additional pump. Very good product from what I have read. Do not own one but if I ever wated to make a wave design in a smaller tank, it works, Meleev uses one in his 29g last I looked at his site.

Good for smaller tanks but not so great for larger setups. They are quite restrictive,
