do any of you use Kent Marine clarifier and if so what do you think?

Never had, why do you want to use it? Do you use RO water or tap water for your mix?

I would just let the tank cycle by it self, the water will be crystal clear in time

If you want your water clearer I suggest OZONE. I thought my water was as clear as it could be. I added an Ozonizer and it was as if a cloud was lifted out of my tank.

Tell us a little more about your tank before we get any further. Size, sump, how old, lighting, water params, dosing anything, etc... ?
