Michael7979 has fire and ice under the zoo closeup forum. Ebay seems to always have the nicest pics of them though lol.

TBP had some amazing blue with solid red rims, but I'm not sure if they are considered fire and ice.

shots added!

thx jov!

thx K! - we gotta talk about those superfishy, heehee!

jov: on the '96w quad PC bulbs', is that a mixture of actinic/10K? or something else? thx!

i was thinking of adding a field to the albums labeled like 'story' or something...

some of these named zoas have stories - or how the name was derived. for instance, the safecrackers were named after the profession of the person who they got them from...

but - i don't know how many of these have stories... heck, a lot of these under 'person who named them' i have:

never herd them called fire trucks.

The PC bulb is mixed 10k and actinics.

Would these count as the standard? They glow immensly under actinics. These are under 10K's. I'd like to see the glowing ones.

are those 'polar icecaps' (the white ones) that you are referring to? or the dragon eye orange ones?

someone on zoosrus is asking me to post the polar ice caps as well - i'm waiting for some info on 'em over there.

I can sell them to you as polar I went from a 14K AC bulb on my 44 (still a white bulb but lower par) to a XM10K X 3 on my 180. Although these all came from my old XM before switching to AC, all the blah green palys bleached. They have been this way for a few weeks and open everyday. However, no color has ever come back to them.

Odd huh?

Btw, anyone know what the yellow and oranges I have are called? Under bluer lighting they glow insane. I've never seen a crayola yellow outside before.

So the radioactive aren't orange? I have some of of those and the bottom pic is what my other ones look like under the blue lighting. What are they going for roughly now adays anyway? I have about 70 of one and maybe 30 to 50 of another.

correct - replace the orange in the dragon eyes w/ two shades of green and you get the radioactive dragon eyes!
