Indeed. Apparently spines made out of snow aren't enough to support a few hundred pounds of weight. Frosty collapsed the next morning.

I guess that's what I get for trying to roll up and stack 100+ lb snowballs by myself! It's not visible in the picture, but I built a snow ramp behind the bottom ball to get the 2nd and 3rd in place.
