Help with Dosing

Hello everyone new to this forum. I started 12 Gallon JBJ Nano Cube Deluxe took out the ceramic cones and the bioballs and filled the second compartment with crushed live rock, I also added a mini pretein skimmer.

Inside the tank I have about 17 Pnds live rock, 4 inch Pacific Indo sand the white with black sand.

Occupants: snails, hermits, Zooanthids, Star Polyp, 2 false Percs and one Yellowheaded Jawfish.

I plan on adding more corals as I move along. But I am stuck on additives.

Does anyone have any suggestions for additives and measurements. Right now I have Kent, essential elements, Pro Buffer DKH, Red Sea Buff, Kalkwasser.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I would test your Ca & Alk. Then dose Kalk accordingly. I'd pass on the rest of those.

+1 on what phenom5 said. I would recommend B-Ionic Ca/Alk if you're looking for something premade. Otherwise, you can make your own 2-Part for less money.

I would go with phenom as well. If weekly to bi-weekly water changes on a nano, you most likely won't have to dose much, if at all.

By the end of week two, before my change, my CA usually drops to 380 by Thurs or Fri and on Saturday I do the water change.

I use the water from PETCO premade seawater thats okay right?

I get 5 gallons of it a week and do a 4 gallon water change and save a gallon for evaporation.

Until I get my RO/DI Unit

You want to top off with freshwater, not saltwater. Water evaporates, salt doesn't, so if you top off with SW you'll slowly raise your SG.
