Tank FS Semi Complete

Selling my tank here is what is included...

29g Biocube tank - I used it for about 4 months if that. 1st owner had it something like a year. Stock pump has been upgraded to 6HF. Pumps out 350gph at 12watts ... Sweet!

150w Coralife Aqualight Hang on Metal Halide - 1 1/2 months of use I still have the box in case you ever need to use the warranty. Comes with (2) bulbs... 2 week old 20k Coralvue and 4 month old 14k Phoenix. The Phoenix bulb was used for 3 months by Logan (PSam) then later sold to me. Logan if you dont mind chiming in to affirm this.

Sapphire Skimmer - Same life of the tank. Pulls some pretty dark skim considering I only run it 16 hours a day. I can post a picture of the skim if needed?

All together $350... Seriously at this price you would buy the light only. Don't want to part out just sell the complete thing. TIA

Hey, if you are upgrading I'll be selling my 125g gal semi-circle soon (can throw in the acrylic sump and MH/T5 lighting for a good package price). PM me if you are interested.

Due to the all the PM's received I figured I'd just post the pictures here. It was hard to take a picture of the front without having the flash beam back at the camera. If you guys want I can take one tomorrow when there is more light in the living room.

Light is clean as a whistle

Shut off the Tunze. Here is the flow from the 6HF running alone.

The skimmer... Cleaned the outside with the paper towel seen. Left the inside of the body and cup dirty to see the nasty gunk that accumulates. It was only running for 2 hours so not much skim on the collection cup to show.

Chime I put barely 3 months on it, and when did you swing by, not much before Christmas, no? Already burned in and plenty of life left in it.

runningnreefing - Its Like 9 inches long and 4 inches wide. Are you saying so the skimmer falls in? If so you are correct the skimmer will go in the middle chamber. Hope this answers your question?

Logan - Thanks! Yup it was somewhere around that time.

FYI for those telling me the Phoenix will only last 6 months. I beg to differ ...

"The light output of the six Phoenix bulbs shows an initial decline over the first three to four months and then levels off at about 75% of their initial output. From these data I raise the question: “If a bulb is not replaced at six months, when it has lost 20% of its output, then why would we replace it at 12 months when its output has fallen only another 6%?” It may be more cost effective to plan the lamp number and placement based on 70-75% of the bulbs' initial output levels. Initially, we could shield or raise the lights and then gradually lower or unshield them over the first four months or so, when the intensity is at its highest but falls most quickly. Beyond six months the bulbs' light output remains fairly constant at about 75%, so only minor adjustments would be needed for at least a year. Doing this may considerably extend the bulbs' effective life."

Thanks for answering my question. I wanted to know if the skimmer sits in the middle chamber or hangs on the side.
