So...if breeding is successful, what do you do with all of the fish?
If I breed a ton of clownfish, what do I do with the livestock? Do I sell them somehow?

I didn't mean to post a stupid question, but I'm just curious how you get rid of the fish.
Do fish stores buy them? Do you sell to individuals? How does this work? |

YES sell them, to everyone on your list.
if you produce 10-100 month-sell to LFS and friends, 100-500, consider local distributors, and 500-1000s month sell to wholesalers. you make a bunch of phone calls and setup a pricing strategy, just remember you 'll get more $$ from friends/LFS/fish than distributors or wholesalers. as example: Nemo clownfish- $8/friends/LFS,(alot of knocking on doors, driving, and making calls) $6-local distributors- (one local trip to drop off the box) $4.50-wholesalers (one phone call and one trip to airport) this only makes sense if you have volume, if you only produce a few fish/month (like banggais, contact your local reef society and see what your friends will pay
