ID on 1/4" hair thin black worm

can you see the little black hairs all over my beautiful algae?
they move very very slowly.. mostly just like a jerk motion was all i can see.. they appeared very recently.. probably in the past few days.. they are all over everything except for my corals/shrimp/fish .... sometimes i wonder if they are worms.. maybe current or something made it move and its just some junk in there...

i was just about to clean my tank I've been letting the algae grow out because some of it looks pretty cool (i also have some little mini kelp in there) lotsa neat algaes that i think are more interesting than corals

(dunno if they are harmful or not, so far doesn't seem to be, although my firefish has a weird dark spot on the bottom of his body)

oh.. and since i put off cleaning out my tank im gonna take some pics of the nicer algaes i have growing and posting them in the vegetation section of the forums
