I've had 2 (not together) both damsel sized and they did great... so maybe my area gets decent quality clown tangs or that i just got lucky. Previous one died after over-fw dipping, and the current one likes to fight his mirror reflection for fun. Grew 50% larger in a month (and is still barely under 2 inches)...unless my damsels are shrinking lol

Anyways , larger Clown Tangs look rather ugly imo, and they look much cuter when small (eye to body size ratio is the only thing that changes).

i have a 4" clown that lives with a purple and a chevron, clown is a bit spastic ,sometimes darting around the tank, he only chases my eyelash blenny. i have high water flow, also he feeds on tons of seedweed.
