ASM is your best bang for the $$.. G2 or G3 would work well for a 90G

I have a G4 that I bought for a 200 gallon tank. Currently its in operation in a giant rubbermaid tub thats being used to cure the live rock for that tank. It works tremendously better than my aquamedic turboflotor. Very easy to remove the collection cup for cleaning. Works better than any other airstone driven skimmer I have had in the past. Very easy to adjust.

Re: in-sump skimmers

Best? LOL The age old question! Opinions are strong on skimmer brands, designs, and placement. The answer really lies with what you are willing to spend and how much skimmer you actually need with regard to your stocking, bio load, and frequency of water changes.

ASM Deltec PM Euro are all top quality construction but all have theur quirks. I'd try to see several different skimmers operating to see what design you like, what fits best (physical size) and what you can afford to buy and operate.
