Moonlights
Can moonlights be too bright? I can dimm the ones I have, but seem pretty bright when on all the way. I love the looks of the tank when they are on full force, but dont want to affect the fish and corals in a negative way. Will it affect the live stock if they are too bright?

Actually, yes it will. They will get more of a sense of dawn/dusk if it's too bright and never reach that rest period. Your moonlights will benefit your tank the best if they never reach an intensity that is higher than that of a full moon. Luckily, the effects of high light moonlights isn't all that great.

Mine are from The lobos.com and are dimmable. Anyone have some good links for reading material on moonlights?
