KH is this low
I have a KH value 107 ppm or 6 dkh. Is this low for a reef and fish tank. And if so how do i raise it.

try a dkh buffer or water changes, thats how i did it, good luck

That is a bit low, you'd rather see it around 10 dKH. The easiest, and cheapest, way to raise your Alk is with baking soda. This is a great article and gives you step by step instructions for a Calcium, Alk, and Magnesium supplement. http://www.reefkeeping.com/issues/2006-02/rhf/index.php
You don't have to use the Ca and Mag part if you already have something else you prefer. Regular water changes also help keep your Alk in check. |

Thanks I will give that a try, I have been doing water changes for a week but it still seems low, I have replaced 25 gals. in this 55 gal. tank. But it does not seem to move.
