I was getting bad info.

2 tangs in a 29gal is not "perfectly fine".

A DSB is just as evil as a BB tank. You can't win.

Yup. Evil in the sense that it looks butt ugly, collects detritus so requires more maintenance otherwise it looks ugly etc.
