Are these guys reef safe? Anyone have one in a reef? ANd, if so, is 55 too small?

Yes they are reef safe. But in a 55 i think he'll get to big. I had one in my 125g. He died of ick.

I am with the gorilla....they do get a bit big but i have found that they grow slowly, if your looking for a good algae eater why not look at a Rayford Goby (aka Court Jester) you would have NO problem with them and it would eat a ton of algae as well
