Question about competability

I'm playing with a couple ideas and need some answers please.

1. Is it possible to safely house different species of Rabbit fish together? I know they're peaceful usually but don't know if they get along with each other.

2. Are rabbit fish reef safe?

3. Besides the typical green, blue and purple Chromis as well as Cardinal fishes, is there another type of reef safe schooling fish available?

The tank in which these fishes are to be housed is a 135 gal and has a 40 gal sump. The only fishes in the system now are a 6" Hybrid Tang and a 3" Zebrasoma (sp.) Tang.

Thanks!

Hey, nice to see somebody else from N.C! I'll answer question number three. There are alot of reef-safe schooling fish out there. I'll name all that my memory{and time} alow.

Flasher wrasses- You could get a group of 1 male and 2-3 fem. Some other ideas are to get two males of the same species{ as long as the species wasn't the eight-lined flasher which are more aggressive} and a few more females; or two different species of flashers wrasses{ 1 male and two females and 1 male two females} as long as one of the species wasn't the eightlined.

Fairy wrasses- They are larger and more aggressive to members of their own species than flashers therefore needing more space. You can learn about this genus in the fairy wrasse thread.

Zebra dart gobies- These fish like to be kept in small groups, but they are very peaceful and the tangs would probably intimidate them{ therefore keeping the gobies hiding or near the rockwork}.

Anthias- These are a little more tricky when it comes to group size. In your tank, I wouldn't keep more than three{a pair would be even more safe}. That way dominant fight will be kept to a min. With anthias it is good to either crowd them{as with cichids} or to give them their space. In tanks under 180g. it is better to just give them their space. It is more practical and safe.

Well, time is catching up with me, so I've got to go. Good Luck!!!
