short little white tubes appearing

there are these short little white tubes with somthing inside,
growing little bit everywhere in my tank. They also have what seems like a web coming out of them, Can anyone tell me what
I can do to get rid of these things. And are they a bad sign.

No big deal. They fish for food. They're just part of your clean up crew, uninvited. I had way too many of them until I borrowed a purple tang for a month. He ate them all, in between eating the caulerpa I wanted him to get. I was rather sorry. I miss the little fisher-worms. But I agree with you, there's a limit.

It sounds like you're referring to feather dusters (i.e. worms). They are filter feeders. They're harmless in my experience.

I'm thinking vermatid snails as well. They look like little sticks right? With a string hanging off of them periodically?

great detrivores - leave them be, unless they begin to clog up PH intakes, etc.
