Complete Reef System/Components-Orlando FL

I have a 55 gal, 30 acrylic sump, 29 refugium, with a ton of extras, could easily be upgraded to 75 that I am selling. The tank has been a great tank, I am only parting with because I have upgraded to a 200 gallon tank and need larger equipment. The lighting is 440 watt VHO plus 175 watt MH, or approx. 12 watts per gallon. The VHO is controlled by the Solar 1000 dimmer which dims bulbs creating dawn, dusk, and cloudcover events. Water is circulated buy a Mag 7 and Iwaki WMD-20RLXT and three concealed power heads on a Tsunami wavemaker, for a total of apprx. 30X turnover per hour. Sump is fitted with two float switches for water makeup. Also included is a K2R calcium reactor with PH controller. Overall this is a great reef tank and will support any inhabitants requiring high lighting and water flow, such as SPS and clams.

I would prefer to sell the entire setup as a whole, however I have priced each item for individual sale. Please find below a list of the equipment:

55 gallon twin corner overflow tank (double drilled)
Wood Stand and Canopy $350 (Includes, tank, overflows, stand and canopy)

MH Socket, 8 VHO End Caps - $50

30 gallon custom acrylic sump $80

29 Gallon Refug w/ stand & canopy $70

Iwaki 20RLXT $90

Mag 7 $40

Quiet One 1200 $20

Sedra 5000 pump $30

TurboTwist UV 15 Watt $55 (used for under 6 mos)

3 Mini-Jet Powerheads $25

Tsunami Wavemker $75

Solar 1000 VHO Dimmer (Dawn/Dusk/Weather) $150

Icecap 660 Ballast $85

4-46.5 VHO Bulbs (2 50/50 2 Actinic) Unused $60

Icecap 175 Watt MH - $80

Radium 175 Watt 20k MH Bulb - $15 (has about 1800 hrs on it)

JBJ Artica 1/5Hp Chiller - $400

2 - 7 day digital timers - $20

K2R Calcium reactor with Ehiem 1048 and media - $150

SMS Digital PH Controller - $60

Turbofloter Multi Skimmer - $140

Water Sensor (shuts down pumps/makeup water if there is a leak) - $45

UPS - $30

Price is $1800 OBO, let me know if anyone is interested and I can schedule a time to view the tank. Price of parts is not inclusive of shipping, buyer to pay actual shipping costs. Payment accepted by either personnal check (will hold until it clears), money order, or paypal (buyer to pay fees).

Preference will be given to buyers interested in purchasing the entire setup, however if I do not recieve any interest in the entire setup, I will part out for the prices indicated above.

If anyone wants pics of any part in particular please pm or email me. Thank you for looking

It is 26" X 22" X 11" (L X H X W). It has two unions on the top for two spray bars. Has bulkhead fittings on one side for 2 external return pumps and has a PH probe holder and level float switch. THe current configuration holds about 5 gals of bio balls which could easily be replaced with socks or live rock. Please PM if you have any other questions.

Any details on:
"Water Sensor (shuts down pumps/makeup water if there is a leak) - $45"

What is this? Manufacturer/model info? How big a pump will it control? What sort of sensor is it?

The water sensor is a combination of a few different components. The first component is a waterbug sensor, this unit powered by a 12v plug-in power supply, allows you to connect as many water sensors as you would like (either a sensor designed for hard surfaces or a an undercarpet sensor). In other words you place the sensor where you want to detect for water, i.e. I put one in the bottom of my stand and the other under the carpet. When the sensor detects water (its really sensitive), it closes a set of terminals on the waterbug controller when it detects water. The terminals are connected to a relay box I built (I majored in Electrical Engineering in College) that has two normally open relays (two relays so I could use two different electrical circuits if I choose to put two pumps on different circuits) that when water is sensed, open the relays, shutting of the pumps. If memory serves me right the relays are 10 or 15 amp, so any pump you can plug into a 15 amp circuit should work on the system. Hope I answered your questions.

You answered all of my questions. So you have 2 sensors on there? How long are the leads on them (how far from the relay?) and how long is the cord that powers it?

I have a spot about 10' from the pump cord where the sensor needs to go. I'd like a sensor upstairs too, that would need at least 15' from the outlet by the pump.

I'm pretty sure I want this, if you can explain what I'd need to do to make the sensor cords long enough.

Two sensors, one has about 6' of wire and the other has about 15'. If you want to make them longer all you need to do is splice in some standard wire and extend.
