Sorry, I didn't go to the meeting.

I was however, in Yourreef today and as I was leaving someone was asking about controllers.........

To get the best deal and interest from a LFS would be to determine which model and how many you want so that they can get the best deal from the wholesaler.

That may have been Kevin and I

Kevin will post up details; however, a detailed listing of what each person wants will be needed so that prices can be calculated. Kevin will post details so sharpen your pencils...

So far two potential vendors have responded. First one would like a piece count and will come back with an offer. So for vendor #1 can I list the following?

DC8: ThunderDog, loup, xia, Red Leader
DC4: KMP, kevin95695
DC4HD: bored4long
AquaSurf: dieselgrk, Red Leader
ACjr Combo: kevin95695
pH probe: kevin95695
???: dots

The second vendor is going to offer a flat percentage off published prices -- Still clarifying details on that one.

Vendor #1 has been busy, but is going to look into it further based on our interest (I spoke with them by phone today). We should know more next week.

Vendor #2 has decided to decline to participate.

If the buy goes to the DC8s, maybe someone would be willing to sell me their DC4 to replace it with a new DC8 from this GB??

Yep, the controller needs to have something to communicate the commands to... DC8/DC4 required. Or x10 modules I guess, but that's pulling a betamax.

Hopefully discounts on everything... At this point we are waiting for the vendor to contact Neptune and calculate what discount they can offer.

Looks like it's shaping up to be a GB on all Neptune products!

More info pending, just need to clarify a couple details with the cooperating vendor.

I'll start a new thread when things are finalized since it will be a buy now, not just fishing for interest. Also, the DC8/DC4 title won't do it justice since it's now ALL Neptune Sys products...

Yeeha!
