macro algae problem

I've been having a hard time getting rid of this stuff - there seems to be two types of purple macro-algae on my LR- this stuff and some easier to remove stuff that is almost like moss. Sorry for the poor picture, but if anyone has had it they'll no doubt remember it. I can't figure out the root of the problem - it's definitely not over-feeding. My paramaters are:

pH 7.89
Alk 2.91
Ca 425
Mg 1350
Salinity 1.027
temp 82

My MH are on ten to twelve hours per day (not sure which right this second).

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
