Yet another lighting question.

I have a 20Gallon Long that i want to setup with soft corals like button polyps and some other softies. I also plan on getting a BTA later on.

I have a choice of a 150 Watt Metal Halide or a 120 watt CF.

I am thinking more bang for my buck.

The Metal Halide Pendant is around 85 Bux while the CF is 140 bux.

My question is; will the metal halide be too bright for these corals or should i go with just a single 50/50 65 Watt CF which is about 60 bux from Hellolights.com

Thanks,
Damien

If you plan to keep a BTA you are going to have to go the halide route.
