Yup. Jack's in full swing. He;s been nominated for pres.

I've got to get some pics up so I'm just a hi jacker.

Well, I guess I should add my name to the list. They've quickly become one of my favorites.
Theop...I'm glad you got that one, I was looking at seriously but my drawback was I didn't think shipping it again would give it much of a chance. Much better that it's happy in your tank without shipping.

Here's a pic of the one I have, hoping to get another this week. This one actually covers the other side of the rock it's on as well.

Sue

The tyree gold lep is anywhere from 50-75 an inch, Atlantis sells them by the 3/4-1" for 60 for the more colorfull ones. Or you can luck out once in awhile with colonies that come in to your LFS as it often gets unidentified from $65 and up, Ive seen quite a few colonies sell for $120-165 for up to 6" of colonies not as colorfull or not quite opened up. Really depends as there really is no consistant measure to prices unless your selling them by the inch, then they avg $40-60.

I don't think I've posted these...

Yellowish/greenish/brownish with light blue mouths

Silver/bluish with red

Neon Green centers (pretty much the same as Sue's, but not anywhere near as good a picture).

And I thought it was a bad picture. I love the one in the third pic! I would love to find one of those, if you ever get a frag of it I'd sure like to get one.

No problem, Sue. I can knock a piece off. I'll be going back and forth from Nashville to Montgomery for the next few weeks, I think (moving to Montgomery as soon as I can find a job).

I'd say you'll get tired of that drive after a few times. It's not quite as bad as Knoxville to Gulf Shores though, that one got longer every time I drove it, or so it seemed at the time. I'll send you a PM.

We do Goodlettsville (just north of Nashville) to Gulfport every Christmas. It isn't too bad, but gets monotonous after you leave the hills. There are so many markers along the way that it's broken up in pretty even sections (Huntsville, B'mingham, Tuscaloosa, Meridian, Hattiesburg, G'port-just discovered that going through Mobile is faster...)

I just got a green one like that, but the picture I have is sad compared to that one. I'm concerned about lighting for the green, I hear it takes more than the purple/green center one I have. Any suggestions? I have both on the sand, and somewhat shaded under 2- 250HQI MH (13K Geismann) and 2 T5 blueplus. Think it'll be too much to have the green out more directly under the lights?

The purple centered one seems to be tolerant of higher light, and I think direct exposure would be fine, but definately one that I would say likes the flow more than the light. The tenticles on it get nice and thick with a good current. Probably the most hardy of all the ones I have and adaptable to different conditions.

This one was with flash, came out totally different than expected, almost like sunset on the reef.

This is an actinic shot

Very sweet! I've found that my green does like flow but cannot take the light at all. in both tanks I have to have it in the shade, any out in the light gets very light. The shaded area gets bright green and the purple centers just jump out.

Hmmm..I got an electric green coral last night for my bday that was marked as lepastrea. Now, I am seeing that I already have a small piece of lepastrea...but this one is different. It has higher walls and is solid lime green. Have to go get a pic.

I've noticed lately that alot of places have a species of Favites (I think, anyway) that's marked as Leptastrea. I got one a while ago, and fortunately it's a sweet little coral, but it's definately not Leptastrea.
