Here's one of my Leptos.

Flash

It's kind of strange that the few polyps on top are twice the size as the rest of the polyps.

Nice piece RandyO I think it looks awesome in both pics! The bigger polyps up top is interesting, possibly the originating or older polyps?

I was thinking the same that they could be the originating polyps. If that's the case, then this colony grew down from the top.

I guess that shouldn't be that strange to me since all my Acan lords grow from the top down. I have a couple Favia frags that are growing down the sides of their frag mounts.

Just got three more morphs. One purple, blue and aqua centered-so sweet. The second you'd easily mistake for some radio active dragon eye zoanthids another killer addition. Third a brown skirt with a shocking orange center. Some are slow but some are amazingly fast growers, I think that's fuelin my addiction is there doin well in my tank

So who else is collecting?
ReefMonger,RandyO:any new ones?

My camera jack broke so I gotta wait till I get a card reader to post and update. Dont let that stop you guys though

( Sam) and picked up a nice healthy frag of another morph of some sweet greens

greystreet41 I was thinking more along the lines of Mt.Lepto Thanks for sharing! These guys are my passion right now. Would you mind telling us a little about yours?Like how long youve had them, what kind of conditions there in and how are they doing? Good polyp extension?

I recently aquired yet a few more of these gems, ones a real dark one . Was a wild colony, probably from Tonga so it's ****ed off right now and only has partial extension. Polyps look burgendy blackish with fine white coralite walls. This guy IMO was either collected really high maybe even exposed or really deep and may need very little light. I'll try and share my crummy pics with you all this weekend.

Hopefully bookfish may be able to chime in if he's seen this morph and the likelyhood of where it came from.

certainly, I'll have to get some closer macro images, the large pic doesn't do much justice. the one of the left has neon green eyes, with the burgundy skirts (similar to a few others I've seen in this thread). I've had that one for several months. I got a small frag of one from reeefermadness that looks identical to my large colony. The other 2 are recent acquisitions from Tonga. 1 has very shiny silvery eyes and the other is more bluish/grey. They've done great on the substrate. They ar pretty much directly under the 175 10ks, but partially shaded from rockwork above it. Definitely my favorite corals at the moment, too.

This corals too damn sweet to let this thread die!

Green and gold skirt with bright minty centers

another shot of one of my morphs, finally came in a lil clearer.

Think Im gonna call this lavender one PlumDrunk Lep, whatya think? The red one is a recent score, and it only comes out at night, thinkin it may have been a deepwater one.

New Addition!!

Somehow this coral slipped through the radar, and I won it for a rediculous amount. You cant buy this coral from wholesalers for this cheap, trust me I know!!

Close up, the brown is in there system now and will either color up to a burgendy red color, or, lavenderish purple Im sure. Cant wait! Should be in my tank by Tuesday I believe.

I have that morph and if I don't keep it well lit, the green can go to brown in just a few days. Enjoy.-Jim
