BTW, Shanna since I never really replied to this it really is no trouble . I'm thinking some point down the line maybe we can do a featured pet right there or something. Show off some of the pictures on the first page.

LOL, and I didn't even get tossed in jail or anything. Dan came with to Provo, so it wasn't bad at all. We took my Dad to Cabelas. I love that place! I bought a jerky blaster to do jerky from ground meat. Cleaned out my freezer and ground up all my leftover meat. Now as soon as I get my coffee fix, I'm off to caulk.

That's awesome! My dad was talking about getting one of those once. We do both slab and ground, right now he still uses a rolling pin and we have a frame to squish it out in. Then cuts it with the pizza cutter.

LOL, they actually have an electric one, but it was sold out. I would have probably bought it! I have been using the tip from a jerky works in a old fashioned cookie press. Still looks like a caulking gun, just doesn't hold as much meat.

Didn't see you posted again. We use a "smoker", exactly like this one...

I don't think the front comes off ours though, just the lid. We used to put wood chips in the bottom but we don't anymore as we have it on our porch and it makes it look like the house is on fire! We can do 4lb batches at a time.

Someone coming in to this thread here might get the wrong impression.... Starts by showing pictures of dogs, then moves on to machines designed to prepare meat...
