diseased paly

anyone have a clue what this may be?

What makes you think this is diseased? The polyps seem fine except for that "tumor" thing, but I wouldn't worry about it. The polyps are extended, show good coloration, and all that. No worries.

was posting to help someone else find out what the tumore may be. was a little afraid that it may move or spread to the other polyps.

Personally, I haven't seen anything else like this. Bob Fenner's group (crew@wetwebmedia.com) might have an answer. Given that the palys look so healthy otherwise, I'd be inclined to assume it's benign, and just observe. Worst case is to remove the rock and razor out the affected polyp. Of course with palys, wear gloves and discard the water used to rinse the results of the cut (see "palytoxin" on Google if you are unfamiliar with the need for such precautions).
