Yeah there were good teams at that time. Since when is there not? However, now days, the competition is much more and to do what the FLA gators did is quite remarkable. I personally believe that this will never happen again in the years to come. The only team I can see it happening with is Ohio State.

Not even Ohio State would be able to do this. Noone has ever done this before. In case you didnt get that, no one in college sports HISTORY has ever done this before which is quite amazing in my books, the gators have set a mark that may never ever be touched again.

Well here are my predictions for this year.

SEC CHAMPIONSHIP, the only one that matters by the way.

East- UGA VS USC- UGA WINS

West- LSU VS AUBURN- LSU WINS

Final- UGA wins and on the way to the NC game vs USC, and i really hate to say that, but i think it just might happen.

These are predictions, so dont go and spend your money because i just may be wrong, but go ahead and spend your money anyways, since i have been right in the past.

You think South Carolina is going to be a force to be wreckonned with next season????? Spurier's good but he doesn't have a lot to work with yet. They'll spoil it for a few teams, but won't do much.

Florida will once again be a force to be reckonned with and their schedule isn't nearly as difficult as last year's. I see them meeting LSU in the championship game, but I'm dead even on who will win as they will both be quite dangerous.

USC should be pretty nasty next year, but they've demonstrated an ability to come unravelled. If they can hold it together, I think they'll take the NC but they've gotta hold it together.

Tennessee, Cal, and number of other teams remain dangerous as well. Any number of teams have the talent to be major spoilers or to take it all the way if they can be consistent.

Speaking of Cal, I seem to recall a bet I have concerning avatars for the entire season based on the outcome of the UT-Cal game. I'll have to dig through my bookmarks, I've got the post bookmarked on my home machine (at least I think I do.)

Well you will see how strong Spurrier is going to be this year. They will beat FLA this year, and UGA will beat FLA and USC, leaving FLA out of the East championship game.

Go for it, they are predictions, but i was right about FLA. Plus i dont believe Tenn is a big factor this year at all.

Tennessee will hurt some people and run in the top 20, maybe skirt the top 10 as well. I don't look for them to be a top 5 contendor. Georgia will be running right along side us.

Nah UGA will be in the front running position like a few years back when we had shockley. Just wish we had him against FLA, but thats the way it goes.

LOL, the rug is piling it up early this year. At least last year he waited until mid season when the bull frogs were mathmatically eliminated before he jumped on the Fla bandwagon.

I agreee with this completely. In the SEC LSU and FLA should be the deadly teams to reckon with. For some odd reason I see FLA beating the puppiese again like they always do.
