I've been getting the same thing unfortunately. I understand that reload/refresh fixes it, but it really gets annoying to the point that I've periodically just quit browsing because of having to hit reload/refresh 6, 8, or even 10 times within 5 minutes just to navigate around RC.

So, um, what's the status on getting it repaired?

Have you noticed the numbers and letters that are linked to other stuff and also the funky jargain at the top of the page every once in a while?
