Rio Hf20 Pumps

anyone have experience w this series of the hyper flow, supposed to have a higher head pressure better flow and seems not to use much wattage ? quiet and longevity, was looking at mag 9.5 but it uses 93 w to rio's60 w less flow at 4 ft.

I don't trust Rio anymore. My brother had a pump rust on him after 6 months. The price should have been an indicator, but he tried tosave $20 and now has a Mag pump in there...
The Mag at a lower GPH, pumps more than the old Rio too.

your mileage may vary.

i hear Rios are notorious for cracking and leaking stray voltage in to your tank. Personally, I have a junky Rio that keeps on working....going on almost 10 years I'm guessing.
