I've been using the Red Sea AquaZone Deluxe 100 mg-hr..I'm not all that impressed with it. When I do it again I'll buy the controller and ozonizer seperate.

Oh, its for my 120 gal sps tanks.

I have a red sea 100 deluxe on a 360 - way too small.....Whatever you get - get the next size bigger than you think you need. Don't just byu one cause the price was right like I did.

Check out enaly at www.ozone.enaly.com
I have the red sea 200, but may get a larger one that uses a spark gap in the future.
Make sure to get an air dryer!

go with the red sea 200mg model-if you get the deluxe model it includes everything you need-the only thing you would need to get is a air pump-mine has worked great-got it hooked up to a 150-running it through my skimmer-(Aqua medic)-everything built into unit-(controller-probe plugs right in)

Your controller will only control the built in ozonizer, When that takes a dump you have a useless controller.

Its kind of like buying a TV and DVD combo..when the TV takes a dump your stuck with a huge DVD player...I've always told myself I wouldn't buy combo items like this. Its not the smartest thing to do, yet I did it anyway. Live and learn

Currentlu use a Sanders 50mg model. Works great and small unit if size is a consideration. Used an Ozotech in past also. It worked well also, but unit is pretty good size. Size was the reason I had to get rid of it when I changed tanks.

I use an aquacontroller to control the unit. I like this instead of the built in units ( ozone plus controller).

I agree if it dies the complete unit need fixing or replacing latter of the two I think..... I understand it but what is the worst thing; I am out $200. For the stuff I have and $$$, this is still a small price...then again the question is "if" it breaks. I could say I should have extra pumps, skimmers, lights etc "if" the others break...Which I do....

I know I am not using ozone 24/7any longer....Pods whee going down to zero....only run (1) day per week.

nope, I got the ozone since I got tired of running QT. I was running O3 for months but after reading online etc, you do not have to run O3 24/7. You can if you want and be ok but I chose not to. Plus my skimmer was producing less. Darker skimate but less.

I have a 25mg model, it crapped out on me about 1 month ago, I cleaned it like I was instructed but it still didn't produce ozone, even though the little green light was showing its working. I shipped it back to germany. I am not to please after spending $146.00 plus shipping on a ozoner and have to send it back to germany fo cleaning and repairs....
