Aquacon.com Experience?

Anybody have any opinions on Aquacon.com? I've never ordered before, and was impressed by their photos of colorful anemones... was considering a purchase.... anybody bought from them before?

I would yell at you to search, but it never works anymore.

Lets just say that the con part of their name is very fitting.

That's the picture to concentrate on instead of the pictures on the website.

Aquacon - negative response

Roughly 1 year ago (maybe slightly longer), I purchase an order to meet their minimum free shipment. They did not send part of my order (arrow crab) and shipped an alternate that was not wanted (Linkia star instead of a Fromia star). They agreed verbally to replace these items with my next order but would not refund even for the missing item. I never recovered the cost of my missing item because I would never order from them again. The 2 serpent stars I ordered were missing legs with flesh showing and died within a week and a half. The Linkia was immediately quarantined separately (it was dying when it arrived) and died in two days. All the other items died within three weeks.

It is my opinion they are dealing with badly handled imports that are not handled well even after they arrive.

DarkStar76, didnt you post the exact same question on this forum a month or so ago. Your not trying to keep this forum alive by reposting the same question just so you can bash aquacon are you?

Bash away they have screwed over many of our fellow hobbyists, myself included albeit a long time ago.

2 suggestions.

1. go ahead and contribute to RC and become a member
2. Once a member do a search. You won't be ordering from Aquacon I suspect then and you will save enough to pay for your membership several times over I bet.
