Question fragging yuma and ricordia

well i was curious because i want to frag my mushrooms so when i frag
it do i have to completely remove it from the rock or could i just leave it
on the rock when i frag by just scoring it or something.

From my experience it is easy to do both.

Option 1:
Pry a little rock off when you pull the shroom. Usually it is easy to break off the top layer of the rock. If you get a good ammount of rock you can glue it to another rock and you are gold.

Option 2:
Peel the shroom off the rock. Also very easy usually. What I found that works nice is getting those small plastic plant baskets. You know the kind they use to hold small spices. Glue one of these to a frag plug (I use pieces of acrylic rod) and fill the basket with a little gravel. Place the shroom in the basket for at least a week. When you "pour" it out the shroom will be attached to at least one piece of gravel you can then glue to a bigger rock.

Each shroom is different. Basically, keep them in consistent light. I have some that are close to the top and do great. I have some at the bottom/shaded that also do great. There is no definitive answer.
