I have something similar, just more gold, less blue. How far from your lights is it? Mine is ~12" from 6 x HOT5's on an IC660: Mine may be developing more yellow due to high lighting? but who knows since they aren't from the same mother colony.

Scyanith,
That is a nice one. I love the colors on it. I'll bet you are right that the color is changing to more yellow because of higher lighting. The one that I have posted photos of was about 12" from the surface and 12" left of the light. I run a 150w 20k DE Radium bulb on my tank.

I like the watermelon-like one you posted as well - very pretty!

I've been following this thread for a few weeks, and I must say, NICE CHALICES EVERYONE!

And now that I got my new lights and my custom white balance working decently well I've decided to play. Here are some of my chalices:

Sorry for some of the blur. It's hard to focus on frags through acrylic. What do you all think?

The following was originally posted in the Micromussa picture thread, but is equally applicable here or in any other forum on Reef Central. As I just had to remove pictures from a commercial member of corals that are for sale on his website, it seems that it needs repeating in this thread. If your commercial, consider it a first and last warning.

Many of you have had previous conversations with RC staff regarding this sort of activity, others have not. There will be no further warnings, and we know who you are.
