1st LPS, Candy Cane, STN

I had a bad alk kit and my alk was 4.5dKH and the Candycane was put in it 3 day before.

Now the Alk is 8.5 dKH, CA is 520, some heads are still recessing but all have sweepers at night.

Oppinions?

Stable water chemistry will help this coral recover. Frequent feeding can help LPS recover from tissue recession.

Calcium is too high. Boost your alk up to 10 and try to get the calcium down to 450. By boosting the alk it might cause the calcium to drop. A water change might help too.
