opps.... over filled! 20 or so gallons ont he floor....and ofcourse the quality builders we have in florida didnt make my floors level ( or slanted at all ) so the water is about 1.5 inches deep in a corner! ( very slowly draining atleast

Hey ATTR if this is in your Garage than it's supposed to be like that so any water runs off and out the door. I had to shim my frag tank in my garage until it was level.

well im in md and am praying my ac dosnt trip during this time.

i think im going to get started either on a pic microchip for temp controll
or a ladder logic relay system ( using relays and old themostats)

basicaly

if outside temp colder then 75 then on

originaly i was going to use somthing that turned it on only if outside was any cooler then inside but that was back when my ac struggled to slow the warming of the area.. now it is stable at 77 ( except when breaker trips!!!)

what i want to guild eventualy is somthing that will do this

if outside+3 < inside then fan on ac off
if outside+3 > inside then fan off ac on
wait 20 minutes
retest

i just reread my thread and cant belive i forgot about my raceways!!

you know. 950 gph into 3 HIGHLY restrictive rotating spinkler heads dosnt get me too much motion

i should really rip out the eggcrate and build my raceways ( use 2 koralia 4s . that would be 1200 gph going into a race way 60 inches long by 7 inches wide by 18 inch deep plenty of flow

ehh w/e ill keep trying it this way.. hydnophora seems happy

ended up not building the race ways.
i found that one mag 9.5 and one koralia 4 are enough to move a lot of water.

may add a second K 4 tho

a few pics tonight or on sunday

just fraged the coral ( small frags)
and glued them to some tile. these frags will become mother colonys as well as testing growth rates of attachment methods
(flat vs standing up)
