Exclamation Jan Meeting

Haven't heard from our new meeting committee (aka. Cathy) about the Jan meeting date or location yet! Keep in mind the Middle Tn Frag Swap is the 19th which would be our normal meeting date.

Also I have not heard from anyone that is wanting to use a "club table" at the swap. Unless I hear otherwise soon I will let them know we don't need one.

Scott, if no one wants the club table, I will claim it for my coral display tank, if that is okay. I can put up the banner and have some of our cards out. I already have a table reserved, but if I could use the club table, that would save me $25. Just let me know. Maybe our meeting for Jan. can be the weekend after the swap.

I do not have any frags but will probably bring along some more of those feeding syringes and stuff like I brought to the December meeting.

Ok first off let's get this right!!! I'm Kathy with a "K". Ok, I didn't think I was doing Jan. meeting I thought Cathy with a "C" was doing December and January. I don't even know what I need to do. So if Cathy with a "C" could help out this month. That would be great!! I never watch the meeting thread. I just get total when and were they are.

And my husband just submitted to this thread so I don't know what he said.

Someone probably will need to pick up the "club tank", heater, powerhead, etc at Memphish as well as the club banner to put on the club table. Someone will also need to bring some sort of lights that will fit on the 20 gal tank. There are already frag racks with it. Just from experience last January and September, someone will need to bring the saltwater for the tank and extension cords. You will also need to bring your own bags, rubberbands, etc. And a beach towel comes in handy for those inevitable spills. Also any paper, markers, pens etc for pricing. Several of my frags came off the plugs and super glue gel really helped. I also brought scissors and tape. Make sure whoever is bringing in frags is there to help set up and someone committed to tear down the club tank and bring it back to Memphish. Since I am coming from Jackson and have to do all the above with my own set up and frags, I will be unable to help. I am going to attempt to get my table by the club table, so we can kind of watch out for each other. These are just suggestions based on experience. There is nothing like arriving in a strange place and remembering you forgot something and having to run out and look for it. I am really getting psyched about the swap!!!

I just did up a bunch of sarcophyton frags I'm planning to bring. I can help gather stuff for the table but am afraid to commit to the whole thing because I'm still unsure if I can go. My father is really sick and I'm going to see him this weekend. Not sure if I'm going to have to go again in January.

Am I the Cathy with a "C" you all are talking about? I'm not on the meeting committee.

B.J., do you have the notes of who volunteered/was apppointed to the meeting committee?

We have it covered. Hope your father is ok, my dad just got out of the hospital from a bout with pneumonia.

One more thing to bring to the swap if you are selling frags is a cup to dip water from your tank into the frag bags. I forgot this at our frag swap, and it is essential.
