Sweet Tank! Sweet Coral's!
You might want to get yourself a Green Mandarin for those flat worms.

Too bad it would never win since it doesn't look like a bunch of painted tiny trees/sticks.

wady, any new pics/updates on the tank?

Beautiful tank.
Hmmm, most of us live in the US and you have all of our best native corals. That stinks

Well, it's been about two months, how about an update? Got any more corals, any new tank pics? Where do you find such great ricordea specimens?!!!

How do you keep the shrooms and such from migrating to nearby/adjacent rocks. Are they not touching?

Sweet tank!

Hello everyone!!

Firstly I want to say a HUGE thank you for all your replies and heart warming comments. It really does make all the hard work and effort worth while AND it's given me a big smile too. I'm sorry it's taken so long to reply to your questions and update the thread. To be honest, I haven't had any spare quality time to spend on the tank recently, except for the usual maintenance and up keep which of course I have been doing. Also a few weeks ago I made some changes to the rock work to make room for growth as well as add one or two new things. It's taken a little while for things to relax back into a happy look so I've not taken many new photos until today.

As you can see from this pic taken before I moved things around, I was starting to run out of room.

This is how it looks today.

I will try and answer some of your questions and also post some new photos as well. Some were taken before and some after the move. Hope you enjoy looking at them.

Siffy - Unfortunately I don't have a web page, just my photobucket account with tons of photos of this and my previous set-up. I did win TOTM on a UK web-site a while back on my previous set-up. If your interested you can see it here;

http://www.ultimatereef.net/forums/s...d.php?t=148950

This tank has been running for about 7 months.

jbrown11352 - You ask what livestock I have, I guess you mean what fish. I have a love for Fairy Wrasse of which I have a Carpenter's Flasher Wrasse, Labout's Fairy Wrasse, Red Scribbled Wrasse, Lubbock's Wrasse. Also 2 True Percula Clownfish a Swissguard Basslet and an Atlantic Blue Tang.

rustybucket145 - My usual routine is very simple really. Apart from cleaning the glass and feeding the fish the only thing I do is a regular water change every 3 weeks. I change 15 gallons each time. When I do this I also add to the tank Zooplex, Iodine, Essential Vits. I feed the fish frozen food and nori. I like to keep it all as simple as poss. I don't add any extra calcium but use Reef Crystals as my salt.

hceiv - No I don't still have my Hex set-up. I transfered everything from it to this bigger tank though.

Secord - Ah you spotted the flatworm. Thankfully my Red Scribbled Wrasse has cleaned them all up. I've not seen any now for quite a while thank goodness.

Madoktopus Newreeflady & marcel leroux, - I hope I've answered some of your question above. As for how I stop my Zoos overgrowing my SPS, I only have three SPS and I have placed them at the top of the reef well away from all the zoos. When they do get close I just move things around a bit. This is the reason for my recent jigging about.
