tufa and live rock question

i think i have the amount of live rock that i want. but i was thinking of rearranging my set-up and i decided i'm going to need more rock. if i go and get say 20-30 lbs. of tufa could i add it all at once without any problems? i think now would be the best time to do it with my low bio-load.

stay away from porous rocks.....they will become dirt collectors over time....use something solid like man made lava or lace rock.
