Parkland Critters

Just sharing a couple of photos from today's run at Centennial Park. Not all photos are macro shots, but I'll get laughed at if I posted them over at the nature forum

#3: Just to show you how fast this fly is. He was originally sitting at the plan of focus. The time between the flash firing and the shutter opening, he's moved to his present position! I missed a few shots because of this.

#8: Turtles in the pond. They come to the surface to beg for food. But between the pelicans, swans and ducks, they are the bus boys.

#10: Not a nice photo by any stretch of imagination, but it is my first ever shot of an Australian Darter (Anhinga novaehollandiae), so I just though I'll throw it out there. This is the first time I've seen these guys at Centennial Park, a cyclist even stopped to watch.

All great photos, love the first one though. That close wing and the head are in perfect focus, gorgeous.
