Hot pink ricordea yuma.

Hi, I was just wondering if anybody had a hot pink ricordea yuma and also where did they get it? If you have one, can you post a pic? I have also seen different variations of "hot pink". Is there a true hot pink or is it really subjective? And last of all I am looking for a hot pink ricordea yuma and have been looking for one for a long time. It is pretty much my holy grail of corals and well probably my holy grail of any tangible object too! Haha well if anyone has an extra one I am willing to unload quite a bit of cash for one. So let me know. I hope to see a lot of hot pink Rics!!!

/\This kind of looks like a hot pink Ric.

I've had these Yuma's in my tank for years now and they regularly spawn babies that I frequenlty sell (many to people here on RC). Send me a PM and we can see what we can work up. But here is how they look.

Babies that have naturally spawned from the above Yumas:

There is a really nice hot pink yuma for sale over at Reefready.net...high price tag but the color is definately "Hot Pink", very, very pink.

Blazer, PM sent, hope you don't mind .

Pm responded to. Reefready.net does have a pink one (though not a solid color) for $250 which is just crazy. I don't know about their pics though, they look a little too saturated with color to be realistic. And I don't believe wild Yuma's have a very good track record for survival as well. I am the only person that I know of who sells 2nd or 3rd generation naturally propogated Yuma's that have a 100% success rate. Just one thing to keep in mind critmin, that's what happens when I dump close to $5K in camera gear

I say, any guy who is dedicated to yumas can't be a bad guy and any guy who has nice ones, well, he's alright with me.

lol. And oddly enough, my name is actually Rick But here are a few more pics of teeny tiny baby pink Yuma's. They start out with a deep purple base and eventually develop the bright pink tips. Here's a shot of a newborn:

This one is so small it doesn't even have much color yet:

And thanks for the comments!

For anyone interested, I can vouch for Rick/Blazer88 as I have two of his pink children. He was polite, prompt and professional.

I thought it was a bit much when he pre-screened me and requested a tank water sample, a RoDi sample, dna swab, 10 cc's of blood, and a well used athletic sock.

I know he is concerned about the future home of his Pinkies, but jeez !

lol John (newtanksmell), you crack me up. Now all of what you say isn't true...I never asked for an RO/DI sample How are they doing by the way? I want to make sure they are still doing well if I can keep claiming 100% success rate with these guys sabodish, interested people have just been sending me PM's to get on my ever-growing list. I can't seem to grow these guys fast enough!

Rick, they are doing well. The big(ger) guy is growing like a weed.

Little guy is growing at the speed of sloth but his color is there for size, so he too is healthy. I may move up to get him some additional light. I just wanted to be careful to ensure I didn't fry either of them as I had just installed brand new MH system at the time of their arrival.

So yes, you are still at 100%. And I dang sure do not want to be the guy that screws up your record !
