Stunning tank. I'm a big fan of open tops and yours with no brace is the best of open tops. Very nice. I'm looking forward to more pictures.

Very, very, very well done.
that tank must have been pretty heavy w/the 3/4" glass. I dont really understand the pvc bottom....did they just silicone the glass to the pvc bottom? I love the braceless extremely clean tank look. you also went powerheadLESS. The closed loop is well hidden. Also love the lighting, never seen/heard of it before until now. I really hope you keep the black back and overflow clean. also, do you think you can post some picks inside the stand of your equipment? please. thank you |

Tank looks sweet, the starphire looks clear.
I would suggest to paint or replace the blue return nozzles to black, so it could blend it with the black background & overflow. Equiptment pics pls. |

Naka,
Excellent rebirth. I can't believe your putting non-quarantined SPS in your new system. Come on 7!

I had the privilege of seeing this tank in person and I was very impressed!! It reminded me of all the Japanese tanks. The tank was spotless and the entire setup was very well thought out. Naka knows it takes a lot to impress me and I couldnt stop drooling over his tank. That light setup is something else too!
I also wanted to say that all of his corals were growing on his new rocks. Im glad to know that he started ZEOvit from day one without any problems. Can't wait to see this tank matured in 1 yr. Keep up the good work bro! |

you know he paid a grip for that joculator
always wanted one - never had the courage to buy a fish that expensive and have it die on me

where did you get that japanese anemone from? did you find it at a store in houston or on the internet? and if you dont mind, how much did you pay for it? it might be worth the drive to a houston LFS for such a nice looking little anemone...

Man awsome tank! Pictures look great! You probably already mention this but for a rimless tank is more or same price and getting it eurobraced? What thickness is your glass?
|
#75
|
|||
|
|||
his glass is 3/4 for trimless you can do 1/2 with a euro brace.....
