Thanks for the info. Do you happen to know exactly which one they are? I'm assuming the bulb is around 30" as the holder is just a little longer than that. Guess I could take it apart and look at the bulb to see which one it is.

Did everything else survive? Or did you have some more losses? Let me know when everything is settled back in.

Yea they pretty much riped the nori out of the clip within a few seconds. Funny part was, we went around to several different places looking for a clip and now it's pretty much useless. OH well, I tried.

Thanks for the info on the UV. just trying to figure everything out so I know what to do or buy.

The fish are all doing great and recongize me when I go by the tank. I've even seen the Vlamangi eating really well. Guess he's not shy anymore.

Good luck with the reef.

Click on the 1000bulbs link. They are 39w and G36T5L is the number.

Lost everything in the tank, except for those fish you saw. The 10" teardrop died as well. just like Carlos said it would

Sorry everyone but you'll have to wait. My computer at home has been tore down while I'm remodeling the house in prepration for the tank to move into it's permanant spot in the new room.

As for the pinktail trigger, there should be some pics in here already, you just have to look for him. He's basically black with a gold tint around the head and mouth, bright pink tail, and transparent blue fins. Really nice fish and reef safe.

Bring it on

Yea I had to move the computer out so I could put in the new french doors in that lead down into the sunroom. The mermaid is on my butt now to get it finished so I got to keep busy at it.

She actually wants me to hurry up and get the tank in the sunroom so SHE can sit and watch it.

Sounds like you have a mermaid like the one I have
Top of the food chain
Mine has taken over my reef tank
All I have too do is get a great picture on the www of some thing I might want
Show her the picture
Them she forces me to get it for her, the pain and out rage
I feel your pain. However, you will live

Yea, I'll live.

Actually she has her own tank, even thoug I have to clean it and take care of it, a 45 G hex that we've had for 8 years now.

The 400 is mine to do what I want with, even though she did make me put her prized 12" toadstool leather in the tank since it was getting too big for her tank and she wanted him to have more room to grow.

Now she's out naming the fish in the tank. The Naso's have been named Peter Pan and Tinker bell because she likes Tinker bell. Or Pete and Tink as She calls them.

The outrage! Atleast our significant others haven't made us get the entire cast of finding nemo in our tanks. Then I would just have to shoot myself. Speaking of the devil, just had someone call my false perc "nemo" at work. He is named Omen (nemo backwards) plus in memory of all of the poor clown fish that have needlessly died because of that movie. (Yes I own it)

Apparently you didn't check out ALL of page 3.

There's a nice pinktail in there somewhere amongst all the babbleing and drooling.

LMAO I know that and you know that, but they don't.

Personally I would rather see Ariel than Pete and Tink.

SEE, it's all your fault.

But I can understand, being a Texas Boy myself.

Oh and my Skimmer is bigger than your Skimmer.
