Looks like you might be the only one following the 11/1 date. No one else has checked in.

Call me Carrie

I'm taking my first white one tonight. The starter pack has one white pill a day for 3 days and then 2 white pills a day for a week and then 2 blue pills a day after that.

I'm looking forward to the non UA friendly dreams

the white ones did nothing for me. except dreams, but i still smoked regularly.

the first day of blue was way different.

Im noticeing my morning one messes with my stomach every day, for about 15 minutes. and i eat it after a bowl of cereal b4 i take the pill. but the dinnertimeish one doesent mes me up at all.

OK - I'm checking in. Have been so freaking busy with work and all. Here's the deal - I convinced hubby to quit with me, and he wants to start the quitting on a monday since we'll both be out of the house most of the days during the week. It's when we're at home that it's so hard not to smoke. So we're both quitting next Monday, November 5th.

I must admit, tho, that I've cut my smoking back by 1/2 without even realizing it. The Chantix is totally taking away that "need" to smoke - I've already forfeited my mid-morning and mid-day work smoke, cut out my "drive to the train station" smoke and have cut down tons at home.

Soooooo, I'm pretty excited and optimistic about this time. Carrie, think you'll be ready by next Monday?

arrrrggg. I had dreams about ciggerettes the entire night! yesterday was quite rougher than i thought

I had a few drinks, whitch made it worse. but i dident smoke. this morning in my car i yelled as loud as i could.. it felt good!! lol then chewed some gum

but it is seriously hard to drop that last ciggerette. I dident really think a cig a day habit would be so much different than none.

My dad still to this day chews on a toothpick the minute he gets in the car (helped him quit smoking.) but its been ten years!! lol I may try it though

I took my first pill (white) this morning. About 5 minutes after taking it, I thought I was going to vomit. Not sure if it's the pill or if I'm catching whatever Jena had yesterday. Stomach still feels a little iffy. I never eat breakfast so I may have to take it with food tomorrow morning.

Yes Carrie. You need to take it with food - two pieces of toast works.
