Off Topic--Corgis

I am looking to get a Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppy for my girlfriend this christmas.
I cant afford to drop 400 bucks on one from a breeder (we want a pet, not a show dog).

Anyone have any corgi hook-ups?

To be honest, it seems like $400 is the starting point for most dog breeds these days unless you get lucky.

I have to agree....$400 isn't bad at all for a pure bred dog. If you want cheaper, try googling corgi rescue and see if anything pops up. Good luck.

Yea-- I found a breeder that has puppies that are the tri-color for $100 instead of the standard red/white. My girlfriend really wants a standard one, but we may have to settle for the tricolored if we want one anytime soon.

corgis are the best dogs in the world

but they are huge trouble makers and energy machines...mine is 1.5 years old and behaves like a 2 month old puppy

she is a handful and a half...makes huge messes chews on any paper product....she's about 90% corgi...obviously mixed with something else, but who knows what...breeder said "corgi/bichon" but the only thing bichon about her is her size

she did this herself

hmmmm....I wonder who did this

too big to post in a post
I wonder where else I could make a huge mess......

there are books for several animals presently (search for "the well adjusted dog" /cat /horse)

every state has different laws, but I believe that "in general" you only adjust someone else's animal in a vet's office along with the vet, as many adjustments involve two people
