Lubbocks wrasse + six-line = good or bad?

I had a six-line wrasse alone in my 26g reef for 2 weeks untill today when i purchased a lubbocks wrasse and 2 banggai cardinals. So far the six-line has been keeping him out of the rock work, where he is 99% of the time. Any ideas on what I can do to help them get along?

You can fish him out and put him in your fuge for a tempory time until your wrasse gets use to the location and it'd be like a new place for the 6line when you re-add the little guy. but 6line wrasses don't like other wrasses.

Sixlines are pretty much aggressive towards any newcomers. I've owned two, and ended up regretting it both times (one in my 58, one in my 180). The one in my 180 got banished to the sump for attempting to kill my clowns.

Basically, you'll see extremely mixed reviews on Sixlines, but the majority will state they're great alone or might be ok ONLY if they're the last thing added and have no competitors in the tank.

I would not mix the two. If someone thinks sixlines are peaceful they probably not had it for too long. The bigger they get and the longer you have em the meaner they get.

Totally agree with JamesJR. In any case lined wrasses do not mix well with fairy and flasher wrasses.

shoooot...i sat 30minuted beside my tank trying to catch the six line wrasse and the darn guy never comes away from the rock work.. hes already nipped the fin of the lubbocks wrasse and i dont know where hes gone to. Any idea on how to catch the six line (besides taking my tank apart)...or i might just return the lubbocks??
