slippy slimey red

Can anyone make any suggestions on transplanting some red mushrooms? I bought a combo rock with 4-5 beautiful red mushrooms and it had about a 1" circle of encrusting gorgonian on the rock. Well... the gorg is taking over and swallowing up the red mushrooms!

I've tried transplanting twice, and both times the $%& red shroom just will NOT stay put. I've glued it, sewed it, and covered it with bridal veil in a sandbed for 3 weeks... no luck. It stays put for about a day then disappears into the tank somewhere. I haven't had any problems with transplanting any others... just the red. I'm afraid to try wiht my last red one!

Suggestions?

Put it on some crushed coral, use something to hold it down, or shield it from the current so that it does not blow away. After a week or so it will, if healthy, attach to some crushed coral, and you can move it anywhere. Just superglue the crushed coral to a rock.
