are rics difficult to keep?

I have soft corals with a couple LPS corals in my tank and am interested in getting one or two ricordia polyps because they are amazing!

I'm running 130W PC lighting on my 46 G (21" deep).

What kind of care to they need (lighting requirements, flow, water quality, etc.). If they are not to difficult to take care of I would love to find some.

Any help would be appreciated.

they IME do equally well in most any tank under most any conditions. they do take time to acclimate to very intense lighting but after they acclimate they do great.

With your lighting, which is on the low side, I would put them very near the top of the tank. Out of most corralimorphs, they do like quite a bit more lighting than most other mushrooms. Flow is medium. Water quality should be pretty good.

Rics and mushrooms seem to be the only things I can keep successfully. They grow well in my tank and even reproduce at times. All they need is some decent light. They're not as picky about water quality as polyps and stoneys, but they don't like a lot of phosphates.

They're pretty easy to keep, as far as I've seen.
