What particular type are these?
The large one in the back I think is a discoma its about 4 inches long and has the little finger like things extending out from it, also what is a good price for these two specimens?
http://img20.imagevenue.com/aAfkjfp0...thign_else.jpg this is a close up of the unidentified one. as you can see it has the same bumps but none of the finger like appendages. http://img11.imagevenue.com/aAfkjfp0...n_mushroom.jpg if it is a discoma, does it pose a threat to seahorses by eating the unsuspecting ones? Can I counter act this threat by fragging it alot so the mouth stays small? Last edited by sdbeazley; 08/11/2005 at 03:58 PM. |

The top one is a Discosoma Neglecta and the bottom one is too angled of a shot to tell whether it's the same or the Discosoma Carlgreni.
The Neglecta is a potential predator of small and slow moving fish (gobies, etc...). So you have been warned. |

I agree with you there on the neglecta but carlgreni isn't too close to the other maybe this image willl help on the blue one.
