I have a ricordia that has 2 mouths about 1/8" apart. How well would it work to just leave it on the rock and cut it in half right between the mouths? I dont want to kill it though....

The key with rics is to try to cut it so you keep some of the foot on both frags. They will heal MUCH faster this way. you could try it, I doubt you will kill it. I have some with 8 mouths and now 8 rics.
