Share your creativity!

I know there have to be some people out there who do creative stuff OTHER than their tanks. Let's see what everyone's been doing lately - maybe it will inspire someone to try something new!

My my spring project was painting a mosaic on our carport floor. During the summer we don't park there - we use it as a patio and a place to keep all the houseplants that barely make it through the winter (which can be pretty long in Ohio!) It took about 20 hours all together...

That's awesome! It's also impressive that you did all that in 20 hours.

That's really cool!!!

The only painting I did around here were some leaves and flowers on the walls, but they've been painted over.

I have no creativity. Just ask any one here.

Now...no making fun of me! I made this for my friends's nursery when they were having their first baby. This is a pic I took before I had it framed. I have another fish/coral scene that I did (I need to take a pic of that...it's hanging on my wall).

I started crosstitching when I tried to quit smoking--something to do with my hands. In the end, I was sewing and smoking at the same time. This pic is my second project I ever made. I should have used 28 count fabric in hindsight...my first project was on 28 count, and it looked better.

I should add that I'm color-blind, so that makes things a bit challenging for me.

Wow, that cross-stitching is really impressive. I tried to pick up needlepoint one time when I tried to quit smoking, but the needlepoint was so frustrating, I went back to smoking!!!

Thanks! I found it addictive...I could do it 12+ hours a day if I had the time. I don't do it anymore because I just don't have the time with school. If I start something, I want to do it all the time.

Ok...here's another one. This is the first project I ever did. Sorry about the crappy pic...I have it framed behind UV glass to prevent fading, and I couldn't use the flash. I suck as a photographer. That lemonpeel angel was hard--like 14 shades of yellow, and my color-blind eyes trying to figure them out. This one is on 24 count fabric, and is about 14"x12".

Yes, I know...you're not suppose to keep these fish together!

WOW, awesome stuff so far!

I'd have some stuff but I've been to lazy/busy to do anything really time consuming and I'm not sure if the drawings I've had time to do recently are exactly the type of creative stuff you're talking about, but oh well, lol.
