How many Hobbyist's and Vendors are registered to participate?

Will any of them be posting lists and/or pictures of what they will be selling? If so which, in which forum will that appear.

Thanks.

Vitaly,

The majority of the vendors will be listed in this page

I'm not sure about hobbyists posting pictures. They may and are welcome to do this. I would imagine they would do this on the BNARC site in the Swap thread there, but none have been posted to date.

At this point we have several sponsors who have given items valuing aprox $2000. As for vendors, we currently have UberFrags slated to take a couple tables. We have another major coral distrib that has also indicated he would like to send a shipment of stuff to sell. I dont want to name that distrib at this time because the details have not been finalized, but I can assure you they provide the best stuff in the business.

I will talk to Uberfrags about possible pictures as well as the other vendor.

I am also planning to sell a fair amount of frags, and I will try to get some photos of them. I cant say about exactly what any hobbiests plan to bring because Im not sure.

I can vouch for Horace's frags. I've gotten several from him and have always been pleased. Come check out what he will have...as well as what the others will bring.

Ive done some talking and feel comfortable telling you that the vendor I was talking about before is FragFarmer.com. For those of you that buy SPS online, he sells the best of the best stuff. It looks like hes going to be sending a shipment of small colonies and possibly some frags.

It sounds like a good coral conference, definitely looking forward to it. Do you know what payment type the vendors will accept? Or should I just cash out my bank account now

Oh and maybe I'm blind and missed it, but what time on Saturday does it start?

I have never been a big fan of hyperbole...but I do hope that this event meets the expectations/nouns that have been applied to it.

However, with only 2 vendors (Uberfrags, FragFarmer.com) and one hobbyist (Horace)...how many tables of "frags for sale" can participants expect to see (one per seller...or more)?

Are there other vendors/hobbyists who have expressed interest in selling goods? Will Rod's Reef have a table with clowns or food?

As an aside, I heard Rod Beuhler's (Rods Reef) talk at the recent CMAS fragapolooza (July) and it was very informative.

The truth is we really dont know exactly how many hobbyist tables we are going to have, but there are others who have already commited to having a table besides me. We are hopeful that we will get several. But until the day of, we really cant say for sure how many there will be so I dont want to promise any certain number at this point. But I will say this, worst case senerio noone shows up....well unlucky you, you will have a damn good chance to go home with alot of nice prizes .

Right now there are 6 or 7 people selling, would be nice to get a few more but uberfrags is going to have three tanks full or coral. Frag farmer is sending a few dozen small corals.

* final title of Rod Buehler's talk

* final number of sellers/tables

Thank you.

Event updates;

Event schedule is listed on the website.

YZreef, Uberfrags, JRE and others will be there selling and trading frags. I know for sure there will be a lot of SPS at the event.

If you are interested in becoming a seller please contact me before Friday.

Rods presentation will be on breeding and raising fish from a hobbyist point of view.

Raffle items include, Reeflo snapper pump, Reef optix 3 reflector, Tunze nano PH, Gap Level-Loc Auto Top Off Unit, biggest item on the raffle is a Vortech ph with wireless controller and battery backup ($569 retail) + there are many other items and gift certificates in the raffle ($2000 total)

This will be the biggest event the central Illinois area has ever had.

Hope to see you all there.

Brad
